We have a pair we bought for our Tundra and they never moved. The mirror housing was single thickness plastic with no lip. We traded for an F150 that has a double wall(?) mirror housing, and 120 miles into the first trip with them a dump truck came past us on a narrow county road, and blew the drivers side mirror off. It survived with only one spot of road rash on the arm. The thick mirror housing that softened when the temperature got warmer seemed to be the reason.
I couldn't come up with an appropriate way to secure them, so we bought a pair of K-Source Snap & Zap mirrors. I'm impressed with the solid mounting. The only negative is they don't stick out as far as the Milencos did.
