Minneapolis RV show

Planning on going to the RV show in Minneapolis this Thursday. Not looking for new RV, but fun to look and also should be some stuff that might be of use. Beside when it's below 0 gotta find a reason to get out and see some stuff, our TT is covered and don't want to disturb it until weather gets better...

We're doing likewise (except we are looking for a new RV, but won't be buying tomorrow). Even in years when we haven't been planning to buy it's nice to get out to stroll around looking at gear and campgrounds while waiting for days where the temperature doesn't start with a minus sign.

We went a few years ago to the MNPLS RV show and were generally disappointed.
We weren't looking for a new travel trailer, just looking for ideas and for unique RV doo-dads that we thought might be there.

Show seemed to be geared to high end units with very few vendors selling RV accessories. Camping World was there and one or two other small accessory vendors, but we didn't see anything unique or at a good price. We haven't been motivated to go back in subsequent years.

We're talking about going. Not sure when though. It kind of nice to get out when it is cold and miserable and start thinking about warm summer nights.

HillTop, last year stated they do not sell enough merchandise to justify the hassle of hauling everything out to the show. They were offering discount coupons.

We plan to be there Friday, weather permitting. Not looking for anything and don't really expect to find anything. Sometimes the seminars are worthwhile. We might check out one or two. If nothing else it is a place to sit for a rew minutes.
