missed a celebrity at the CG

We camped at a local county-ran CG (Blue Springs Lake) this weekend and the host told me Kelli Giddish (Law and Order, All My Children) and her boyfriend had stayed across the street from our spot a few days before. They had nice Airstream and they found the smaller CG using an app on her phone. The host said they stayed a few days and she was super nice. I had never heard of her but the DW had. What celebrities have you ran into at CGs or what small CGs were you surprised to hear had a celebrity stay?

Never met any, but read and saw a video about Kathy Bates. Apparently she and her husband travel all over the country in their motorhome. She even does most of the driving.

I never met anyone either, but one time while walking through a CG, I came upon a camper performing a little engine maintenance on a fantastic looking class "A". In talking to him, he told me that it was (the late) Conway Twitty's private coach. He gave the DW and I a tour of the inside. It was just as fantastic.

We spent the night in a CG in SC with Radar O'Riley from MASH. Gary Bergdoff. He was traveling to Fl. and spent some time yaking and taking pictures with some in our club. Just a regular guy!

As a MASH fan, that would have been pretty cool experience to me! How long ago was that?

If I ever make it to California, I always wanted to visit the Fox Ranch where the outside M*A*S*H scenes were filmed. It's in what's called Malibu Creek SP today.

On the sports board I frequent the comment they would say is pics or it didn't happen but in this case she was already gone. I'll post a pic of her for people to see what you just missed:
