Month on the Road Ends

We started out a month ago at the Gypsy Journal Rally in Sept. Then on to Mount Airy home of Andy of Mayberry. We moved on to meet friends in Myrtle Beach lots of Rain. We stayed at a RV Resort with 2,000 sites at $ 45 bucks a nite that anin't bad. We moved on to Savannah Ga. Toured the town stayed a not to good KOA. We then moved on to Fort Rucker in Al. I was stationed there forthy yrs ago. We had an anterna problem. The rotater won't turn the base. I had to go up and hand rotate the dam thing in the Rain.
I will say we had one Major Tire problem coming home. We were driving home on Interstate 57. Luckly my tire pressure pro system alarted me. I had a nail in the tire but the tire had the steel belts coming out. Our Designer just went out of the two year warranty. The Designer has Goodyear Marthon Tires made in America. Today I started looking for four new ones.
We had a great time and can't wait to roll out in December to flee the White stuff up here in the Windy City.

Glad to hear you had an enjoyable trip. I'm a Carolinian myself. Don't mean to discourage you from the Gyears but I had no service from them. I put BF Goodrich Commercial T/A on my designer. Have also seen more people using Michelin LT and Firestones LT. on campers. Tires are kinda like campers, lots of opinions. Thats a heavy unit you have. I have often thought manufactures should put 17" wheel and tires on the big rigs like yours. You guys stay warm in the windy city.

Went on the prowl for new tires today. Well I bought a new Truck. Hey I got use tracked again. Well now I need to remove the hitch and tank out of the Black Pig.
New Ford needs a new Reese hitch, three trucks three hitches. Guess I need a garage sale soon. Life is Good !!

Worn out tires is as good an excuse for a new truck as any. Congratulations.
