Yes. This is our first trailer of any kind. 4.5 years and the MorRyde orbital is all we’ve ever used.
Works fine, a couple things you need to pay attention to- the wedge. It needs to be torqued to 200 ft lb. Follow directions, it’s worth the trouble and you don’t need a slider. You need to be pretty close to straight when hooking up.

Advantage over normal pinbox- pivots farther back so you don’t hit your truck cab. Does not spin around in bed of truck so it doesn’t hit side rails or your cargo.

Warning- when wedge is installed, don’t let goofballs at the dealership tow it around with a tractor unless they know what they are doing. They destroyed ours and had to give us a new pinbox.

I was just reading some info on the Companion STD hitch by B&D and they say it is not compatible with any hitch with a wedge that prevents the head from rotating on the hitch pin.

I don't know what an STD hitch is, but I'm sure some penicillin can cure it.

The only thing I've read is that you can't use an orbital pinbox if your hitch is mounted to the truck with a (single point) gooseneck mount.

That is the hitch I'm talking about.
