I learned today that if you don't want to stir up controversy, don't start a thread about snakes! LOL

The only post/series of posts I've ever had removed by mods on this forum had to do with a "can I tow it" discussion. So of course, I voted for that one, the fridge on while traveling, and the truck brand threads. Those seem to me to stir the pot of the most controversy.

I agree with some of the others that are missing though, like whether you use your on-board facilities, and cleaning the black tank.

Though, to be fair, many of the truck brand threads are good-hearted ribbing, and often quite entertaining!

Which toilet paper threads can get pithy. People are just a little strange on this subject. Especially the ones who don't use it in the camper.

Don't really mind the "can I tow it" threads. They are entertaining, and you can learn a lot, and the poster asked for it.
What I do find disturbing is when someone posts a "I just took delivery of a new 999XYZ and I'm so happy" thread and someone invariably has to bust the bubble with a "you can't tow that with you got" comment. Figure that's a total buzz kill for the poor poster. Let them bask in the glow for a while. If their TV isn't up to it, they'll be back asking questions soon enough. It's not like they can tow it back to the dealer and say "I changed my mind"...
Hey, I suffer from two-foot-itis like the rest, and life is a constant switch between too much trailer and too much tow vehicle. Figure I'm just doing my part keeping GM and Jayco in business...

I agree! People are oddly obsessed with their own excrement!

This needed to be a 20 choice poll, snakes included.

Well, you could always do a controversial topics part 2 with 10 new questions.

Residential fridge vs. electric/propane and tankless HWH vs. 6 or 10 gallon tank are usually good for a couple responses.
