Most controversial topics poll

What are the most controversial topics on this and most other RV related forums? Poll. You may vote for more then one. I probably missed some topics but the poll only allows me 10 choices. Civil discussion welcome as always.

I think it's a toss up between:
1 Is that enough TV for that TT. And
2 Deisel or gas.
Those are definitely the 2 that get me most worked up.

Staff actually has a running thread where we keep an eye on ''Can I tow it" threads that get heated up, or are likely to do so.

If there was a problem you would have been notified and/or any posts in question may have been edited or deleted. Most discussions here are civil and helpful to the OP. Only occasionally do the moderators have to step in on this well behaved forum.

6-volt or 12-volt house batteries probably would have gotten a few votes too!

You forgot one. How about, "Are you willing to pay more for better X"? Where X could be anything from campground facilities to roads.
This question is usually answered by multiple pages of cherished American retorts such as...
"I already pay to much, let someone else(a slacker) pay for it". or
"No, I am on fixed income (IOW, actually get COLA raises)" or
"No, make X pay us back for WWII and use that money!" (Where X=European or Asian country of choice).

I think Truck brand vs. truck brand is the winner. People have a lot invested in THEIR truck, and so naturally, THEIR truck brand is the best!

But I bet if you put "Carrying Firearms for Protection in the RV" as one of the choices, it would rank pretty high too.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the dreaded gun topic. But of course threads about firearms are a no no here anyway.

There are a few not on the menu:

Dog lovers vs Leave the dogs at home.
Trailer awning lights, outside music, etc. vs don't impinge on my space.

Overall, people on this forum are very well behaved.

I like reading the gas verses diesel pages, I never thought of them as controversial.

Propane on while travelling and tires, on the otherhand can get hot fast.

Yes, I would have to agree. Top being "Can I tow it" and "Truck Brand". BUT, we all know Toyota is the most reliable and has the highest resale value of all mid and full size pickups. J/K...LOL
