My dog ate my trailer

Hello fellow campers...
I'm writing for repair advise. My 1 y.o. lab chewed through the shoreline cable and two white hoses that were protruding through the underskirting.. I'm not sure what the hoses are the are white and labeled 150 p.s.i. im hoping they are not propane and just some vent lines for the holding tanks. Any advise would be wonderful.

17' 26bwh

Thanks
Josh

A couple pictures of the hoses would be helpful. Propane hoses are black. My exposed water lines (open underbelly) are ether clear or braided white. There is also a FW tank vent/overflow tube, and typically two low point drain tubes that have open ends.

I suspect the tubes are just your low point or vent tubes. It should be no big deal.

As for the electrical cord, you can replace it. But it might might be time to upgrade to a detachable screw lock connector like a lot of the big RVs have. They are easy to install and then you can just buy a new 25' power cable.

Sounds like the Lab needs a few new chew toys.

If the white lines are PEX (hard plastic) and they just stick out with no fittings, then they are just vents or low point drains. Propane is usually run in copper,r heavy black rubber, not plastic. As for the electric... depending on how badly it’s chewed, you should be able to repair with crimp connectors, electrical tape, and heat-shrink tubing.

Good luck with the repair, and with the mischifeous dog!

Thank you for the wisdom and prompt replies you two. I feel confident I can repair it this weekend and the family and I will be camping soon.

Take care and thanks again.

take a look at your trailer brake connections... pups like to chew on those as well.
