Electric hot water heater element? Looks like a 110v switch.

I'm also thinking it is for the water heater, so be sure you have water in the heater before turning it on or you will burn out the element. I you turn it on and the water heater does not heat up there may also be a switch on the back of the tank that is off.

Why don't you "e" mail JAYCO and see what they say.

OK I'll check the HW tank and go from there. The switch itself is pretty much the same as the other rocker switches except it light in the up position. These are actual pics from our RV

Thanks

I have no idea, but I've got at least 2 or 3 switches in my house that I still haven't figured out what they do, and it's been over 5 years since I moved in. lol

Must be why it's opposite of the sink. There's no way I could reach the drain and switch at the same time.

X2. If no other lighted switches in the TT then a lone lighted switch would be the water pump.

Come on ---- push the button...bush the shinny button....it lights up....you HAVE to push it....lol

So lets go process of elimination - do you have a water pump, water heater (gas or elec) switch already somewhere else? Was your trailer used? It looks to me like maybe an aftermarket add on by a previous owner.

I think that switches on the flux capacitor. Before switching it on, though, make sure you are hooked up to the 11,000amp service. :-P

I vote water pump. Can you removed the switch and see which way the wires and what type they are? Looks kinda aftermarket so shouldnt be hard to follow or tug on to see if wires move around somewhere.

If it were the electric water pump you would hear it prime when turning it on. If it is for the water heater you should not hear it turn on. Is your water tank filled?? If so then see if the water runs without city water. If it does not then turn on the switch and see what happens. This might solve the problem for you. Oh, What does it say on the switch?? I see some writing on it.

Well maybe it's to turn on that little red light. Have you looked in your panel to see if it is I'd ? You could find which circuit controls it and go from there.
