Name plaques?

Alright so we just bought our Jayco TT and it will be at a seasonal site. One of the criteria's is to have a name plaque or plate on the front of the TT. Just wanted to get some ideas and was wondering what you guys have. I prefer not to get it stickered on the front.

Thanks for sharing.

something like this (not mine)

We have a mahogany plaque that is shaped like North Carolina (where we live) and we had it engraved with our names and when our family was established (1981) and on the state map we have the town we live in notated by a star...we like it. Just an idea...

Our name sign is very similar, except the state is Pennsylvania and we only have our last name and home city on it. We've had the sign for over twenty years and it's survived many storms during that time.

Ours says "Our rest and relaxation retreat". with a painting of a trailer, lake and woods.
We decided to avoid putting too much info on our sign. No last name or town where we're from.

A dear friend now deceased , who we met at the CG, carved our last name in a small piece of slab pine (5" x 10") & attached a string. We hang it on the site number thats attached to a tree. Larry

From things I have read the safest way to do this is with a loaded gun in the camper. Camper invasions are like home invasions. Also your full name and city is like an invite to visit your home.

I'm actually doing this now...

I carved our last name into a big piece of wood, and all of our first names (dog included of course) in smaller pieces and am now using a wood burning tool to give it a distressed look. Once that's done, i plan on staining the wood and putting on some sort of clear coat. I havn't yet decided how or what i'm going to mount it on.
