Go to any State Samboree or county fair and someone will be set up making them with all kinds of samples. Many ideas to choose from.

Some say you should not put this information on your camp site as a security issue.

I don't have a picture handy but we got ours from Etsy.com. Do a search and you will find tons of examples. We got ours from the seller ****************** for about $60.

Friend made use ours. It has our last name engraved in large letters in the middle, and all 4 of ours names stenciled around it in smaller letters. No location. It is wood, with two eye hooks in the top. I used to hang on the pull straps on the end of the pop up. Now it hangs on awning or ez-up depending on how we are set up.

We still have the wood one we got at the county fair (last name only) - fun watching them make it. We used it when we used to occasionally camp with a Coleman club, but ever since it just occupies space in a cabinet and I doubt we'll ever use it.

First names only with city and state. Purchased at flea market/craft fair. Made freehand while we waited. Love our little sign.

We have several that I rotate. Names , ours the dogs and hometown.

A friend made one with a wooden cutting board and a wood burning kit. Another I mad from a small piece of slate found in a creek that looked my home state. The slate not the creek!

Local Craft Fair

They sell the signs and put your name on them for free. The carved signs cost too much for us so we went with the painted sign. After they are personalized we sprayed clear polyurethane on it to further waterproof it.

Check out *************. Not a wooden sign but got a nice personalized flag. We ordered it at a craft fair and it came in the mail about a week later. Ours just had first names on it.

Same here but sadly we forgot it and left it at our last trip to Dreher Island. The Rangers called me the next day telling me I left it at our site and they would hold it for us to pick up (who knows when that will be..)

I've been thinking about making one for us. I've seen some really neat ideas from wood to plexiglas.

I would ask them if you could send them a check for postage to have it mailed back to you.
