You can also get a free lifetime pass under the people with disabilities act. We got one for my youngest DD. She qualified for being Type 1 Diabetic. I figure she might thank me some day!

I had my veteran status added to my driver's license last time I had to renew it. It has come in handy many times.

I like getting a 10% discount at Home Depot. Many other stores offer discounts as well. You just need to ask.
