Need pantry storage ideas

We have a 195RB Baja, and really appreciate the relatively large pantry, given the trailer's size. But . . . the shelves are quite deep (and fairly tall), and we find as stuff gets stuffed in there, it can be a pain to get out what we need (or even find it) without pulling everything out. Wondering if others have done mods to make the pantry more friendly.

BTW, our current organization is pots, pans, other cooking stuff on the top shelf, a set of plastic drawers that fit pretty well side to side and top to bottom on the second shelf as the only drawers in the trailer (but lots of wasted space behind) and regularly used food on the bottom shelf, mostly in paper bags (other food in roll-outs under the bed).

Thanks in advance for your experience/ideas.

Look for some plastic boxes or containers (shoe boxes) that will fit on the shelves, then just pull the box or container out to find what you want or need.

Ours is in storage but I added a shelf to the pantry and to the beside the bed mini closets. Then we found some deep but shallow boxes that we could pull all the way out to use all the space. A few bits we keep in the big closet. I tried to add a pull out cutlery drawer to the table but the table hardware got in the way. I also added a door to the end of under seat storage box so it could be used without taking out the cushions to access it. She added a hanging "sweater" closet organizer that we use to hold our clothes and hang the rest. Under the shelf in the closet we keep shoes and a laundry basket for dirty laundry. And of course I added lifters so we could access the under bed area for some stuff. I also added door hinges for the access panel for the water pump and valve area. Saves a huge amount of time unscrewing it to get in.

We added pull-out trays to our kitchen pantry. I think we got them at The Container Store, it's been years but I know Lowes has them

Rev-a-Shelf makes some nice pull-out steel shelves that are narrow enough to fit the pantry. We used a different brand of pull-out wire mesh baskets. Makes use of the depth and easy to reach things in back.

Thanks everyone for your ideas. Sounds like I will have to look harder for containers/pull out shelves that are a good fit. Pull out is my preference. Finding containers that are a good fit is a bit of luck, but it seems that they are out there, based on your experiences.

Bed Bath and Beyond is a good place to look, but unfortunately they're closed temporarily. Their website may still ship.

Our bottom shelf has a small tote in the back that holds all the owner's manuals for the various equipment. In the front is a small sink type basin that holds tools and other odds and ends.

The middle shelf has a plastic utensil caddy that holds all the knives and forks, etc. Behind that are the boxes of plastic bags, spare paper towels, etc.

The top shelf has the toaster, coffee pot and other large appliances in the back, with more frequently used coffee mugs, etc. in the front, along with a small plastic tool box.

All pots, pans and frying pans are under the sink, along with spray bottles of cleaning fluid and dish soap.

Don't see any issues. All are easily reachable even by my height challenged wife and we enjoy all the space provided.

Try this.

Kind of pricey and you need to figure out how to mount on a side wall, but they probably have the size to fit.
