New 2013 361 REQS NOT SO NEW ANYMORE

Was sleeping and at 5:30 am I am jolted across the bed. Someone hit my rv in the rv park and left. It was hit so hard that it knocked the rv over about 5 feet and the front axles dont seem to be aligned with rears anymore. The damage looks pretty extensive to the rv but I am sure his truck is pretty banged up as well.
I ordered this from Jayco and have only had it for 3 months.
Now I need to wait on the insurance adjuster and see where I will live while it is being repaired. I am living in it fml time at the moment for work.

That is really awful. I sure hope your ins company steps up to the plate quickly, and the police finds the hit & run. So sorry to hear about this.

Unbelievable. I would be off the charts angry and frustrated. Hope you get it back to normal ASAP. I hate seeing someone getting something nice and then have someone else mess it up and tops it off by not even take responsibility for what was done.

By the looks of it, seems like someone backed into you. Could it have been a HUGE motorhome leaving early in the am and they possibly didn't even know they did it??? Still a rotten situation.

Looks like they had to run down the tree to get to you. Most big motorhomes have rear cameras to help the operator see what's behind.
I've always thought there are some people that just aren't smart enough to drive (a car, much less a motorhome or pull a trailer) but they're out there.
That's painful to look at and I'm happy to hear there were no injuries. Hope this gets sorted out for you!

People on the other side of the park heard the screeching tires when he took off. My neighbor was a awake and ran outside when he heard the crash and saw the guy backing out from my rv after he hit it. He hit 2 t post that were in the ground holding up the tree in the pic. He was stuck momentarily it seems like on one of them. It was dark and the neighbor said he couldn't see the temp. Plates

Anyone know what is involved in an rv body repair? Do they bondo and repair the fiberglass or replace whole panels? I assume a panel replacement would have to come from Jayco. Could be a long time to order parts?

Someone has to know who did this. Are there random people driving through the RV park? This is a bummer. I hate to see stuff like this. Some people are so irresponsible.

I agree with Steve. It shouldn't be too hard to figure out what spot(s) he was possibly backing out of. I would ask the police to question those people about any visitors they may have had. I would also check with the gate and see if any visitors checked into any spots close by. Someone in the campground knows this person, I would try and do everything possible to try and track these jerks down. Sorry you have to deal with something that was so Avoidable.

As I always say in these situations, "Proof once again...you can license stupidity!" I would be royally ticked, that's for sure! Hope you find the irresponsible party.
