That is just sad, such an investment and then to receive what describes like a nightmare quality vehicle. I haven’t seen one in person but looking at pics, it is a beautiful rig. Hopefully they will make it right so you can start enjoying and not being upset with your new ride. Not sure about mechanically on the coach, but the engine, cab, basically Mercedes items will not disappoint. That was really the main factor for me when I ponied up the extra 15-20K over a comparable Ford V10 model. You may see weekly issues posted up on the coach itself (I will be posting another design flaw tonight..) but rarely if ever will the Mercedes name be followed by any issues...other than the supposedly 15MPG I should be getting..

I was just contacted from the seller and he is contracting a guy to come get it and drive it to his shop and do the repairs. Curious on the wear and tear if they will replace stuff ?

Being brand new and under warranty, they have to make it perfectly right, and they will. We had a few issues - our dealer was useless, but Jayco stepped up and made everything right. It's inconvenient, but you'll be pleased in the end. Don't despair! We think the look of the new Prestige is beautiful, and you'll love it in the end.

That's great mileage. We've never driven ours without a tow, but we get between 13 and 14, so I'm sure we could do as well without the Jeep dragging us down.

Trust me, while she is a looker, Texas summers and dark paint scheme = muy caliente. I wonder if the Prestige has a better AC unit.

Feel Your Pain

We can feel your pain. We bought brand new from a local dealer and spent several hours going over the rig. They could not get the garmin rv radio to work.. We told them it needed to be fixed..... They said, just go home and try it. Four weeks later and three trips to the dealer, along with a final hissy fit, it was finally fixed by replacing it. Also, we were also unable to drive the MH until after the purchase and inspection. The brake master cylinder was broken.....another trip back and we were sent to the MB Dealer. The MB Dealer told us there were multiple recalls and the reason the master cylinder went was because these dealers just let the rigs sit on the lots....And, yes, we paid for the dealer prep. Horrible experience. Next time, we are just going to go factory direct and sit there..... No more RV dealers. The MB Dealer was the only bright spot in this experience.
