We had a Winnebago Class A for 5 months and traded it in for a Jayco Seneca 37K. Much better quality and construction. No RV is perfect from the factory, so I expect tweaking, cleaning up, repairs and adjustments. My best friend is the dealer I bought the RV from. They go out of their way to help and advocate for us. You may pay a little more going through a dealer, but in the end, you are on the road, enjoying your investment and your family. Our Winnie was in the shop for 4 of the 5 months we owned it with leaks in the slide roof, bad leveling system, leaking shower, rattles and cracks. Sorry for your issue.

Jayco Quality

I was planning to buy a 2017 Jayfeather but after looking at several trailers, I was appalled at how poorly made they are. I previously owned a 2002 Jayco Kiwi which was a great camper but the current units really seemed to be slapped together. Doesn't anyone inspect these things, either at the factory or the dealership? Customers need to quit accepting this overpriced junk that spends more time at the dealer than it does at the campground.

My wife and I were planning on replacing our Jayco Skylark so we decided to check out a new Jayco. I was shocked at the lack of quality in the new Jaycos. Trim was actually falling off around the interior doors. It was laughable how bad it was. Our Skylark has a few issues but overall it's been good and we decided to keep it for another year. Our next RV is going to be a Lance or Camplite. I realize I will be paying more but the resale will be better and I'll enjoy the RV more.
