It is a good time to start camping. We start our kids off at about 2 months, now they are 34 and 31 and still enjoy camping. Congrats

Congradulations!! Nothing like starting them out young. Both of ours started out RVing at 7 days old, so it's in their blood. Third one is due in May, so I figure to keep tradition, that one will be camping at 1 week old as well.

Thank you to everyone for posting. Congratulations to BigJohn on the pending arrival. We've already taken her out for a weekend trip, and she did great. She really doesn't have a choice. Good eye on the AOPA shirt. Haven't taken her up yet, but soon.

Awesome. In 1982 our daughter was 3 weeks old. We had a 32 ft Southwind motor home, pretty much one of the nicer Class A of that era, we traveled from Austin to Knoxville, TN for the worlds fair for three weeks. Three kids total. No problems and had a blast. She ended up learning to walk in that RV on one of our trips. This was before seat belts etc. was even thought about.
