It's not meant to look pretty, or to haul anything. It's just a prototype to test the concept. We are still decades away from weaning ourselves off of the petroleum teat.

Scroll to the bottom of the link, the numbers are listed. Base unit is 7000+ lbs, and go up to 14000+

I also read that the pics are only a prototype. It is not guaranteed to look anything like the photo's, and may be 2 years until production..

Side track..... I used to love that game. What was it called? I had it on a Leading Edge IBM clone as a kid.

The truck is ugly. More of an SUV than a pickup for sure. I love the concept of electric vehicles. As trucks go, needing to haul long distance and get work done, we’re a ways away I think. For the average person who doesn’t haul an RV or use it for work purposes, I could see this truck having some appeal.

2 motors will tow 10,000 lbs......Sounds better than a lot of P/U trucks and at $ 40,000 cheaper than a truck and a lot better looking...

I'm one to always welcome progress/change. I look forward to having all of the advantages of an electric truck. I love my diesel but I do believe that an electric truck will have clear and obvious advantages in the (pretty near) future.

If it looks anything like this prototype then forget everything that I just wrote!
