New (to me) TV

I had the opportunity to sell my beloved 1995 F150, put a few hundred bucks with it, and purchase a 1996 F350 SRW 7.3 PSD, and 4spd auto. It is a crew cab with 8' bed and 3.55 gears. A little hard to find specs on it, but best I can tell in research is 9,900# trailer, 16,000# GCVWR. It is a monstrosity, and has 300k miles, but it will fit the whole family and should pull the 26BH at max GVWR of 7000#, so here we go. The ambitious little explorer is off the hook.

Questions:
1. Any one have a link or PDF for specs on this thing?
2. I still plan to use the WDH and Sway controller, good idea?
3. I know this is a Jayco forum, but any PM's about diesels, and maintenance would be appreciated. This is my first oil burner.

This site has many different areas pertaining to Ford. This specific forum is about the 7.3L. I read many different sub-forums there; poke around there long enough and you'll find many answers.

Thanks. I found this sub-forum 1994.5 - 1997 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums. Mine actually is the power stroke. Again, thanks for the direction.

You may have to much truck now!!! Lol

Congrats on the new tow beast!!!! Not sure about the specs, maybe a Ford dealer can help if you provide the vin if you can't find them on a forum???

Chances are the receiver hitch is only rated for 5-600lbs without a wdh, so definitely use the wdh. Check the receiver hitch to make sure it is in good shape. You will probably need to readjust the wdh.

Have fun!!!
