night light

just returned from our fourth trip with our ultra lite 184, other than a dead battery all went well. had purchased a couple of solar landscape lights at wall mart for 1 dollar each, found that they work great for a nite lite in the tt, no batteries needed and no need to use the 12 volt system. attached one to the tongue of the tt to prevent walking into it in the dark, worked pretty well and all for a 2 dollar investment. happy camping!......

We saw those in Walmart, while doing a "first trip" forgotten item run. Peggy thought they would be neat but I was not so sure. Reading your post has given me second thoughts. Might need to go back and pick up a couple before the next outing.

Some people have even cut the stakes off these lights and then attached some kind of hanger on them. They then use awning clips and hang the lights from the awning. Instant, solar power awning lights.

We use the flicker LED lights that give off a warmflicker glow that looks like a real candle light. They operate off of AA batteries and have a long life on batteries...

Have no idea where the wife got them but they come in all sizes, shapes, and styles. We like the western lantern style like shown here... Makes a perfect night light. Ours has a timer to turn on/off at preset times.
