Noecold Frig Cooling

We are leaving tomorrow for our first time out with our new 26RLS. I turned on the frig and within 1 hr. the freezer was doing great but the frig itself didn't feel that cold.

What should I expect from the frig as far as how long it will take to get cold, etc. ?

Thanks,

KRP

I always give the fridge at least 8/10 hours to get cold.

That is pretty normal. They say 6 hours minimum, but the longer the better. If you can turn it on the day before you leave you will be much happier. Enjoy the trip!

Ditto on overnight cooling. We usually leave our Norcold on a low setting while parked at home, and turn it up the day before leaving for a CG. Don't know why the fridge takes longer to cool, but that's the way it is.

Sounds great. Makes me feel a lot better. Just didn't understand why the freezer got cold before the frig.

And don't be surprised if it seems like the fridge is cooling down during the day. It freaked me out when I saw some defrosting going on during the day and luckily realized that it was from the weather & in/out of fridge.
