Yea, we received another notice in the mail. I think it's just an update/reminder.

If so what was the outcome?

This is the reason I don't bother with most class action lawsuits. It's not worth my time or the bother of filling out anything and sending it back to help a lawyer get a paycheck. No offense to all you lawyers out there, but I've spent enough time on the planet to know that we're waaaaaaayyyy to quick to sue. Every time I see "class action lawsuit", I immediately think "some lawyer's going to get a big paycheck while the people actually affected are going to get pennies."

No thanks.

+1 I got what I assumed to be a second notice as well.

I'll probably go ahead and sign on. If anything, it would be nice to have an extra 3 years warranty I guess...

Don't be so quick to react. In general I agree with you about class actions, but if you actually READ the long form claim document, you will see that some folks can get a $1700+ payout.
I just submitted my claim online - based on my Model N821FLT frig I am entitled to $340 - $680 in payment, depending on how many claims are filed. That is not chump change to me!

This is the reason I filed as well. Our Norcold N8 is functioning properly [so far] but it would be nice to have peace of mind with the extended warranty. A little extra $ would be nice too.

To be honest if it had not been for this thread I likely would have thrown the notice in the trash and forgot about it.

You have until Aug 26

You have until August 26 to file a claim here:

https://www.norcoldclassaction.com/home.aspx

I personally look forward to my $6.35 check.
But I also get three years extended warranty which is good.

I'm wondering abut that three years additional warranty. My trailer is a 2011. So does the extended warranty go to 2014 (whoopee) or to 2016 (whoopee - extended Jayco's 2 year warranty to 5, so expiring in 2016)? Or maybe 3 years past the settlement date of the suit?

On the class action suit information site (clicky) I can't find an explanation of the extended warranty dates.

My understanding is that they extend the warranty from the time that you get your settlement. Otherwise it would be worthless.

Filed my information on the website today. Just under the deadline. It says I would get "5 shares". I wonder what exactly that means ...
