Question Octain front roof question.

Hello, I am new on here and looking for some information. I just bought a 2012 Octain ZX toy hauler that has some water damage in the front. I am repairing it and covering it with aluminum. My question is, is the rubber roof membrane supposed to go under the front cap of the front wall? I feel it should have been over it and that's why it has gotten damaged. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum from Western NY!

The roof material should be under the edge of the roof cap, and the seam sealed with self-leveling compound. All the roof penetrations, also. Everything up there should be carefully checked every year for degradation.
