Off to a rough start

We are at Wind Creek state park, AL. Backing into my spot, my spotters let me down. Ran into a tree. Fortunately only damage is to the cargo bike rack. Then I go back to level the trailer and the dogs have jumped on the lock button and locked me out of the truck!! Finally got into the truck by sliding a wire in and hitting the button. All set up now and three beers in, so all is right again! [emoji482]

X2!

Any day camping is better than a day at work.

I remember the evening I traveled with my dog Jedi. I was in line to check in at a state park. I stepped out of vehicle just as Jedi touched the lock button. Long line behind us on a Friday evening. Not enough room to get around me.

Fortunately, I had opened the window for him to get fresh air as we slowly traveled through the park towards check in station. Window open enough so my hand unlocked the door. Can you imagine the campers in line if I had to call a locksmith and they were blocked behind my vehicle 😳😳

Lesson I learned that day was to tape a spare key in one of the bins. I have never used it for 5 years but just in case.
