Off topic Nissan question

I'm sorry this is not RV related and this may be the wrong place on there to post it, but I know there is a vast amount of knowledge on this forum, both RV related and non-RV related.

I drove the wife’s 2010 Nissan Altima yesterday. I noticed a “shimmy, shake”. Upon inspection, I discovered both rear tires were extremely dished out. I’ve never previously had that happen on the rear of a vehicle.

Any thoughts?

By dished out do you mean that the tires are significantly more worn in the center? Sounds like the pressure is to high in the tires. Check for manufacturers recommended PSI and check your tire pressure.

Dished out, is a condition one usually sees on the front tires caused by mis-aligment. It is little oval areas on the tread where the tread is worn deeper.

hmm new term to me. As far as the tread wear you are describing, rear wheels can be brought out of alignment with enough of a jolt. Often seen if rear wheel slams a curb or someone gets pulled a little to sideways during emergency tow.
