One more Winterizing Question
Okay, one more winterizing opinion/question regarding the pink stuff.
I have not used the pink stuff for approx. 25 years but have relied on just blowing the RV lines with air. Back then Kitty and I had a small Shasta camper. I pumped the lines full on pink stuff and the next spring, every line on it had burst, thus, I have been skeptical of the pink stuff to protect the water lines.
In early spring, Kitty told me I wanted a new RV which was delivered in April. Kitty also told me I wanted a cloths washer in it, which leads to my question. I understand that one can just pour pink stuff into the washer tub then run the “drain and spin” cycle thus winterizing the outlet side of the washer. My concern is, how does one winterize the inlet side of the washer? The only solution I could think of was to fill the RV water lines with pink stuff then cycle the washer thus ensuring that pink stuff was in both inlet and outlet sides of the washer.
Now for another question/opinion, does one I just leave the RV water lines full of pink stuff for the winter or does one now drain the pink stuff from the lines?
