Last Monday i paid 4.95 gallon for diesel. This morning this same fuel station has diesel set at 5.35 gallon.. Prices are climbing faster than Elon Musk's satellites. We are in for a world of hurt..

I might have to drop his service to afford an extra half tank of fuel each month.

My Fuel station here in Mojave Desert actually reduced their price yesterday from $5.85 to 5.49, (Diesel) I pulled in and did a half tank top off.. $82 bucks. I now pretend my half tank mark is the empty mark and keep her topped off.

I just checked and it's 3.89 a gallon by the house but I bet it will be 7 to 10 dollars if that war doesn't end. Now we don't have rocket engines from Russia anymore luckily we will be using American made ones soon

I just saw on the news this morning that our president finally banned/blocked all Russian oil/fuel into the U.S.

The news followed with us expecting fuel to now rise even more. As of 3-9-22, a gallon of 87 octane was $4.17 per gallon in my neck of the woods in North Central Florida.

Hopefully Putin will give in soon or the world will be destroyed by him. I looked at all our oil wells and it turns out many are not even pumping or they are running at reduced capacity. If we get back to normal we have the oil we need if they start pumping it. We never needed Russian oil, just like we didn't need Russian rocket engines for our rockets, but we have been using them since the early 90s. Now Russia stopped selling them to us just now, but we should have our own ready soon. Hopefully we will make products here but I won't hold my breath, business looks for the cheapest labor. I called Sam's club yesterday and talked to Nicaragua

0.22$ A GALLON? Here in the Ottawa Ontario area we went from $1.46/liter to 1.99.9 a liter. its diesel, which is a bit more expensive than regular gas right now. I drive a GMC 2500HD, I spent 208.00$ on the weekend to fill it. it was $1.76 a kliter 4 days ago!

You do not want to come to Canada. At $1.80 a litre that works out to $6.83 a US gallon.

On the Bright side:
This should signal the end of the RV shortage. RV sales are gonna tank and the dealerships will have used ones stacked up like cordwood.
Congestion/availability should improve at campgrounds. Prices should follow....

I have a 2020 F150 with what we like to call the baby power stoke. I do not tow with it, it is my company car. I get on avg. 25 to 26 miles to the gal. in the city and if I drive 65ish give or take I get 28 on the highway. On a tank of fuel I avg. 650 miles and fill-up about every two weeks if I am only driving to the office.

I wish Ford would have keep this in the line-up instead of switching to the ele. cars.

It would be a real bummer to top of the tank (85 gallons for me) and then wreck the truck.
I wonder if insurance will count fuel as contents?

Yup we are headed out that way the end of May. Hopefully it will have calmed down by then but like you, just gonna pump it. We don’t usually eat out at all and sites are already paid for.
