My experience you need to do a very good job washing all the surfaces. From what I can tell, Jayco uses some type of silicone treatment on the wood trim, and stuff does not like to stick to the wood surfaces. Not sure about the vinyl wall paper. When we painted the walls in my parent's TT. We first gave it a good wash, then primed with Kills, than painted. It turned out nicely. I would not take any short cuts, as pealing paint on vinyl wallpaper would be a pain to correct.
