Pan-Mass Challenge

Not that my fellow JOFers aren’t careful anyway, but for those in MA the weekend of August 5 - 7 please be extra careful. There will be several thousand cyclists, me included, on the road participating in the annual Pan-Mass Challenge ("PMC").

The PMC is an annual bike-a-thon that raises money to support life-saving cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (“DFCI”) in Boston. The PMC organization was founded in 1980 and to date has raised in excess of $500 million for cancer research and treatment at the DFCI through its Jimmy Fund. The Saturday riders are primarily between Sturbridge, Wellesley and Bourne and the Sunday riders between Bourne, Provincetown and Wellesley.
