I ordered the pass, that will give me an excuse to cross the border.

Just a question, I camp around during the summer with grandson, and a good trip would be to go to Niagara Falls, Canada.

Looks like crossing at Blue Water bridge, Michigan would be the way to go on 401-2-3. Are there any Parks along the way? Do they get booked up ahead? Other campgrounds that would be recommended? Campgrounds near the Falls?

I know, lots of questions. Just thinking if we do this, I would hate to not have a place to stay. Well, I guess there are Walmarts over there also, if nothing else...

Yes...Bluewater Bridge - 402 - 401 - 403 is a straight line...all divided highway and avoids most of the congestion of the Toronto area. In the Hamilton area, the Lincoln Alexander Parkway is likely the better routing rather than going up to Burlington.

For camping around Niagara Falls on the Canadian side, there are many campgrounds in the area including Marineland, a Jellystone, and KOA nearby, but I don't think there are any Provincial Parks in the area. I have not stayed at any of them.

If you want to stay on the US side, there is Four Mile Creek State Park which is about 20 mins north of Niagara Falls on Lake Ontario.

Depending on when you go, you could park the trailer at Four Mile Creek, and then spend a night in a hotel right in town. There is a Great Wolf Lodge ($$$) as well. There are always special hotel rates with lots of extras thrown in...
