Perplexed TT shopper , depending on electronics

Forever and a day I have read so many issues from folks dealing with the Jay Command system. Everything I have looked at still has the system. I would think that someone in the upper chain of command would stop sending out most all of the new campers with the setup on them.

Along with the lack of attention to the quality of the interiors and storage room that most of the competition is providing, its really hard to stay loyal to the Jayco campers. I would think that anyone reading or scanning many of the threads on a daily basis and looking would create a loss in sales driven solely by the new but troublesome operating systems.

I have owned one in some form since around the mid 1980s and do not get some of the thinking that currently goes into the new units. Please someone tell the powers to be to offer some of the basic and proven stuff that works and you can depend on when you are not plugged in or carry cell phones around all the time What is the world is wrong with the simple rocker switches for the basic but needed equipment.

2017 23RB Jayco Jayflight, great camper, loved it but sold, dog told me she needed more room, rigged perfectly and updated for off the grid.

You need to write a letter, probably no one from JAYCO really follows this forum.

I actually spoke in general with some of the folks at the Tampa show and spoke to many dealers on my return and in the past two months attempting to locate a unit that was just the basic setup. So far that's not happened. So about all I was doing was venting and letting the folks dealing with this issue know that I feel their pain, I guess.

I believe that a lot of people share your thoughts. We have been casually looking recently at something new and we are not at all impressed with the electronic integration that all manufacturers seem to be pushing now. There must be a market for it. It just isn't for me.
