Planning a trip to see the August 21 solar eclipse?

I had been thinking about making a trip to catch the August 21 solar eclipse.

Then I found out there would be another total eclipse in April of 2024.

The 2024 eclipse will pass right over my deck and the weather here will be much cooler, so I decided to roll the dice and hope I'm sill above ground in seven years.

Any of you panning an RV trip to see the total eclipse?
