We have so much wind here in our Valley location that a cover would just beat itself to death, and abrade the RV sides in the process. We only cover the tires to keep the sun from deteriorating them.

Not covered in the summer, have a great inside storage place for the winter. Seems like up here in WI being outside in the winter does the most to degrade the exterior. Our old Dutchmen pop up went 10 years before I needed to reseal anything. Our 2011 X23J was in perfect shape when we traded it in this year. Our 2015 Starcraft 299BHU needs resealing around the bottom skirt joint already.
Granted we have already pulled it 5000 miles this summer on some not so smooth roads.

My adco cover was just delivered by amazon. Planning on covering for the New England winter, but haven't done it yet.

my Adco cover is waiting for me to pick up across the border. Ordered through Amazon. Waiting for the Thanksgiving weekend to go camping in Bar Harbor and bring it home.

DW picking up the Adco designer cover today. Had CW ship ($9) to the border for me. Upcoming Canadian Winter will be the test. Just couldn't justify $700 + 90 for shipping to go with the Sunbrella product...yet.

Just bought mine at Tweetys and was a bit disappointed when I took it out of the box. Not as heavy duty as I expected but I suppose it will suffice for now. Plan to build either a shop or just a 3 sided building to keep it in some time down the road.

I think for you luckly folks in the south that don't receive much if any snow I can understand not covering your RV. However for us Canadians where 4 feet of snow could be sitting on the top of the trailer, I think covering the trailer makes sense.
We have a 2010 Jayco 31BHDS, doesn't leak in the summer even under heavy rain however in early spring for the past two years I have found wetness in the carpet on both sides of the linen cloest (tip outs on either side) and other than 3-4 feet of snow melting slowly, can't figure out why it would be leaking. I am thinking of purchasing a cover before this winter to test my theory. Also our trailer sits in a protected tree lined area so wind is not a big concern for us.

Cover or no cover
Yes we cover our trailer in winter.
Even when it is in storage in Florida over the winter months while we are there.
The Florida sun does its damage on by fading, deterioration of vinyl parts, rusting exterior metal parts etc..
