Pop Top Solar Connections

Hello, New member here although I have had a Jayco for a number of years.
I would like to know how is the best way to get the cable connection from a roof top solar panel on a Discovery Pop Top down to the battery box. If any one has done this with a Jayco or other make of van the info would be really helpful

I get the impression based on your model that you may be one of our good friends from Australia! Most of our members are from the US and Canada, so not sure if anyone has experience with a Discovery - but I am sure there are some here that can give some suggestions. Welcome.

for a popup.. I would think that maybe run the cables down the outside.... now this would mean that you would need to use a heavy duty connecter on the roof and disconnect the panels before traveling... but with the power cord on the outside you could lower the roof to disconnect and reconnect before you raise it back up...

Running the cable down the inside tho possible appers to have too many problems to make it worth while...
