Portable waste tank question

How do you transport it while traveling? I would not want to put it inside our trailer and we tow with an SUV so we can't put it inside the vehicle either.
Thanks in advance!

I carry mine in the SUV. It is airtight. In addition I never use it for black water. Only gray. The black water tank has never filled to the point it needed dumping during the camp.

On our old hybrid I installed some light duty cargo hooks on the frame underneath the floor and strapped it into place there. There was enough clearance that I didn't have to worry about it hitting anything. It never moved in over 10,000 km of towing. The wastewater tanks in our new Jayco are big enough that by the time they get anywhere near full, it's usually time to go home.

I transport it in the bed of the tow vehicle. I have the Reese Revolution on my 5er which frees up the bed space for cargo. I transport it, but thus far have never had to use it.

You're talking about an empty tank, correct?

I've seen many attached to a trailer's roof ladder and some to rear bumpers.

Thanks everyone! Yes I am talking about an empty one LOL! We don't have a ladder so maybe the bumper or underneath. We would most likely only use it for grey water also so I may consider carrying it in the SUV. We can't put it on the roof of the vehicle because the kayaks ride up there!
