Positive Dealer Warranty Service

When we first got our White Hawk 20MRB, we noticed when we showered, water was leaking from somewhere and going under the wall shared with the kitchen. SWMBO did some caulking and we thought we had it fixed. However, after returning from a 3500 mile trip to New Mexico, the DW found the wallboard had warped on the kitchen side of the wall:





Called the selling dealer and sent him the above photos. He said he would call Jayco and order the needed panel. To his word, he did call Jayco and the part came in late last week. Tuesday, 8/9 was the earliest we could get it to them as the dealer is about 75 miles away and service dept. is closed Sun & Mon.

Got a call today (next day!) and was told the WH is ready to go.

Now this is what I call super service, especially with what gets posted here regarding some other dealerships' service departments.

Oh! In case you are wondering, the dealer is Blade RV in Mt. Vernon, WA.

Glad to here you were taken care of. All to often you only hear the negatives.

Follow up on this post.

We went to Blade RV today to pick up the White Hawk. The wall panel they replaced looks great. I asked the service manager if they checked to see what from the shower stall caused the damage. He said they had not as I did mention SWMBO had done some caulking.

We went into the rig and he took a look at the stall and decided that maybe it should be re-caulked. To my surprise, he put a tech right on it. The tech went through the trouble to remove all of the old caulk and completely re-did the entire shower. I must say, this is excellent customer service!

A side note, we found it interesting that a couple had arrived from Portland Oregon to pick up their new trailer. Guess they didn't want to purchase from the dealer(s) down there, for some reason.
