Power tongue jack - is a manual crank included?

We just picked up our 2015 X213. Were we supposed to get a manual crank with our power tongue jack? The service centre says we are just supposed to use a standard socket wrench. That's fine but I'm just wanting to check if anyone else got a crank with theirs.

We got a manual crank with ours. It was in the side storage compartment.

Same here. Doesn't look like much though.

Our side compartment had a crank for the stabilizers and for the slideout, that's it. And the service centre is telling me the jack doesn't come with one.

Mine did not come with one but just as well since the jack failed (motor) The new Atwood 3500 the dealer installed under warranty has one. The new one is heavy duty too vs the old one.

What problem did you have with your jack? Ours seems to be drawing too much power and kills the battery in 10 seconds. As in completely dead, not even enough power to turn on an LED light.

We hooked up our tow vehicle figuring it would take power from it (we had no crank that would fit and no access to electricity and a dead battery) and it used so much power our SUV quit running.

I got to my campsite, started to raise it off the hitch and it simply quit....I plugged my trailer into my generator thinking maybe my battery was low and it was still a no go. Took out my tool kit and used a socket on it to operate manually.....let me tell you, it took quite a number of turns. My new Atwood is a heavy duty one and lifts and lowers much quicker than the original one. Very happy with it.

The crank used for the stabilizers jacks fits the tongue jack. Small disc in the top needs to be removed to insert the crank. Fortunately have not had to use it for that purpose.

If your jack is killing the battery and your truck something is very wrong. Take it in for service...

Ours seems to be a totally different size so doesn't work.

Oh ya we know. We just bought it on Saturday so really just discovered the problem on Monday after using it and realizing something wasn't right. I've talked to the dealer and I think they are going to ship us out a new one. We looked at the jack tonight and near the top of the metal leg it's super rough and all scraped up so I think this may be a case of a cheaply made in China jack that isn't smooth inside so the leg catches and runs the thing down quickly and draws too much power.

It's actually blown its second fuse from us testing it out. Sigh.
