Prayers for Gatlinburg......

One of the most popular places for recreation is ablaze. The town is being evacuated and buildings destroyed. They are saying the fire was man-made due to drought conditions, so sad.

The DW and I were just there in October. My heart is breaking.

We were there this September and fell in love with the area. Very saddened by this. Hopes and prayers for the residents and visitors alike.

Our first trip with the new TT is probably going to be in a few weeks at the Townsend KOA.

We love it up there and are really sad to see the loss of life, culture and history.

I'm planning on using my last week of vacation time this year to go volunteer for the clean up / recovery effort.

We stayed at the Townsend KOA a few years ago and I have to admit that it was one of the nicest campgrounds we've stayed at. Looking forward to going back sometime.

Thoughts to all the folks that are affected and prayers to all the first responders and volunteers.

Three deaths so far. Very sad. We were there in Sept of 2015 and can't wait to go back. We hope the best and hope the RV park stayed at, Smokey Bear, escapes destruction.
