Just a heads up, there's a "power coupon" or whatever its called on this from 8/4 - 8/6, dropping the price to $649 instead of $699.

I got a deal that is unbelievable! I paid $735 after tax including the 2 year extended warranty. I guess it pays to buy it in the store vs on-line.

How much does the extended warranty cost? I don't usually go for those but in this case the regular warranty is only 90 days!

Did they just offer that, or did you ask for a lower price?

The price was $699 but with coupon it was $649. They offered the 2 year warranty at $129. I declined and they said, "What if we take more money off the generator, would you buy the plan?" I asked how much off and they said $100.00. So basically I paid $29 for the 2 year plan.

That's an awesome deal - proof that it pays to deal in person...

Instead of using the power coupon use the 20% off coupon.. it takes the price down to about 599

The 20% off coupon has exclusions in the fine print. Predator is listed.

On another topic... my friend that we camp with a lot - and next week - bought this two weeks ago. He has already tested it out in the driveway and powered up their FW with AC and all the stuff running except Microwave. It handled the load and quietly.

That's our plan. We pick up our TT tomorrow and plan to get a Predator from HF on the way. Sunday we'll go work on cleaning and stocking the TT and will use the Predator to power the 15k AC.

Keep in mind some generators have break in periods so make sure you don't over work it

Well a nasty storm came through tonight and killed power to the campground and surrounding town. I took the opportunity to head over to the closest HF and grabbed one of these. Have to say it is doing fine running my 13k AC. I'm not pushing it all to hard as manual states. A 25 hour break in period.

Thanks to the OP for the post. I never would have known about these if not for the post!

I will say it is a lot heavier then I expected....

If I didn't already have my twin Honda's I'd seriously look at the Predator. However the heaviness of a 3500 would probably keep me from getting it.
I'd have to opt for two 2k models, assuming they can be twined, and I could fit an extended run tank to them.

I only have a 13.5 AC unit but it handled that without any issue. Didn't even bog down on startup. The only negative like I said is the weight of 100 pounds...
