Propane tank lock

I am likely not the first person to think of this, but I came up with a cheap way of securing my propane tanks.
I drilled a hole through one side of the wing nut and another through the hold down bar.
I then put a long shackle padlock though the holes which prevents the wing nut from being loosened.

Did the same a long time ago. People see it now and cannot believe that is was so simple to do.

That's a pretty good idea. I ended up running a cable through the tank handles and around the tray and locking it with a master lock, but I'll probably do this on the next camper.

I did the same thing but added a chain as a little extra.

Great ideas, thanks for sharing. Guess I can loose the chain and use it for something else.
