Pulling a tote is always a conversation starter

Used our Barker 32 gallon tote this weekend for the first time.

Everyone you pass by looks at you funny, but several people approached and talked about the use of the totes.

The tote really increased our enjoyment of being at a non sewer site, and as a bonus we met some really friendly folks.

We stayed at Lincoln Rock State Park near Wenatchee, WA. It's one of the best campgrounds we've ever stayed at.

Nothing unusual about the tote here in Massach6setts. A lot of state parks don't have sewerage, so they make perfect sense. It's a lot better than going to the dump station on your way out of the park.

Definitely better than moving the TT every time to a dump station. We use a 25 gallon because have a 22 gallon Black Tank which last us about 14 days. This year we are on a permanent place with no sewer hookup till the end of october. I use a low hitch carrier where I put the tank on and off to the dump station.

Black tank lasts you two weeks? Must be good at holding it!

I've only used it on 1 trip so far, but I am starting to really like my 42 gallon tote. We have only used it for grey water, but now that I know where the sewer connection is at my house, it is going to save me a trip to the dump station this week, I can just dump right here at home using the tote instead of moving the whole trailer.

I had everything flushed and ready to go before the last leg of our trip coming home, then someone had a bathroom emergency on the way... oh well, I get to do it again! At least I can do it at my leisure!

With 2 teenagers who do not know the meaning of water conservation we live by our tote. And to be honest... I kinda like long showers too... I don't like having to worry every time we have to wash dishes or shower that there is going to be a backup in the shower. I've met a lot of people standing around out blue totes at the dump station.

When we are at state parks and I am hooked up to our tote going down the road to dump some people ask me what I am doing and all I say is "taking our poop for a walk" Gets a laugh. But will say that the tote is worth it's weight in gold.
