any body experienced pulling a 36fbts with a 2003 f350 sb crewcab srw 6.0 diesel auto
with 3 : 73 gear ratio , air bag suspension..
any issues with mechanical and or acceleration on hills , breaking down hill and otherwise..

looking at a 14k with 2016 fbts pinnacle .. loaded up as we want it..

ford brochure states 12,700 lbs limit for this truck. gooseneck towing.

checking with anyone out there to provide us with some feedback before we
go and buy a new truck .

I had an 05 f250 with 6.0 that I towed our old trailer (about 13.5k pounds) with. Had airbags on it as well. No real issues other than I was technically overloaded (f250s and f350s are the same truck with the 250 being de-rated on its GVWR for registration purposes) and always felt the semis wake as they passed by. You can do it as I did but you'll want more truck if you plan on longer trips. I ended up trading the f250 for an 06 f350 drw with 4.10 gears.
My f250 had a higher tow rating than yours. I think I'd be looking for another truck, but that's just me. You don't need a "new" truck, just a newer one imho.

At 14k# you are looking at 3.5k# on the pin. Does your rear axle have that much cargo capacity? We pull 12.7k# with 3020# (IIRC) on the pin and are close but comfortable on the weight. I expect you will be close or over the Rear GAWR. A visit to the CAT Scale will let you know how much weight you can add to the rear. Don't forget to add 75-100# to the weight to account for the hitch.
The CAT scale is your friend.

thanks for your input.. good point on the hitch..
my truck has great payload capacity which over exceeds our need but lacks tremendously in goose neck towing,, probably will be looking for a newer truck.

I have the 06 model of that truck with the 3.73 rear end.. Just from reading this thread, I agree that you will be loading the rear axle to much. My rig has 2800 lbs of pin wt and does great but I would not want to go 3 to 400 lbs more.
