Q about your travel map

The Bride and I have been discussing our travel map. Do you include the states you travel thru or just the states you camp in? We are traveling and recently drove from MO to SD without an overnight (not that many miles). Left an odd gap in states visited and we wondered what are your "rules"?
That said, we've just experienced a powerful hurricane in TX and FL is now in the sights of an even more powerful one that is currently plowing its way thru the Carib. Our prayers go out to all affected and yet to be affected. Those of you blessed to be safe please add your prayers for those who are and support the relief efforts in whatever way you are able.

Travel map rules are what the owner of said map say they are.

For me, mine includes all states my travel trailer has traveled through. Although only one state on my map qualifies as a travel through state, West Virginia. I did stay at a Walmart in the Oklahoma panhandle while passing through.

My map was for all the states my then Koala 21CS had been in. However, I mounted the map on a large glass picture frame. It has followed me to our new JF 23RB. I will add any new state we go to in the 23RB.

Agree with Atlee, travel map rules are what the owner of said map say they are.

Our only includes states we've camped in. A friends map is states they've travelled through, with a red dot added to states they've camped in.

I like that idea.

Agree with the above. Mine represents every state I've spent a night in, but not necessarily with a camper. In fact...the vast majority of them were definitely not with a camper. If I did it that way, it wouldn't be worth showing the map to anyone LOL

Thanks for the feedback! I agree the rules are whatever we say they are. The "red dot" has merit.

My map reflects only those states where the camper has been, either passing through or overnight. I've actually been in all 50 states. I was even in four states simultaneously in May of this year.
