I think to begin to understand not only the initial quality as far as long term one has to understand the manufacturing industry as a whole. When visiting Jaycos plant I was simply amazed at what they had to get accomplished in a matter of minutes to produce the amount of units they make each day. At one station they had a bare frame. Within 20 minutes we were there they had built the floor and installed tanks underneath.. Put the flooring on and cut the holes for the floor vents. At another station they installed all the roofing sheets in a matter of minutes and screwed them down and ground off the seams. The guy wiring the convertor had all of a few minutes to hook all the wiring to the back of it and do a check on it. I work at the Gm truck plant in Fort Wayne Indiana and we have 45 seconds at each station to get our work done and send it on to the next station. Imaging having to install 2 rear shocks, tighten 2 e brake brackets, put the fuel tank bracket clips on and on the heavy duty trucks install a vapor recovery tank in 45 seconds. It took me longer to type it than what I have to do the job.

I am overall happy with my unit and although I have had some issues with it and still have Jayco slated to do some warranty work this fall I have to say for as quickly as they are built I would have expected worse. We would all build one differently if we had the opportunity but the time it would take to do it our way the campers would cost 500,000 dollars a piece. I will settle for the few issues I have any day and put that savings in my pocket.

After owning three Arctic Foxes, over many years, few new rv's stack up. So far I am happy with my Jayco, for the money it meets my needs.

The big issue for us is - forward floor was rotted. Discovered problem after 5 years. AND we live in Phoenix.

Just came off 2-year warranty in April. No major things, other than brakes on one wheel, which were covered by Dexter.
Definitely a "9".

Into our fifth season with our 2013 26 RLS. There were a few items that needed attention early on: two minor water leaks where connectors needed tightening and sealent tape need to be replaced on slide. Other than that...knock on wood...this trailer has been a champ.

Just coming up on the 2 years date with our PUP.....so far have had to have the dealer address the door opening gap (not plumb) and the step/hatch wouldn't stay secured, and the control board on the heater had to be replaced. Everything else seems to be working as it should. I had to rebuild the dining bench seats two months into our ownership....PUPs were designed for the occasional use. We were living in ours for 4 months while our home was being renovated and the bench seats became our living roost so to say. Beyond that, we're happy with it.

August 26, 2016 was the end of our two year warranty. I gave the Greyhawk an 8.
While it did have more problems that I anticipated (this is our first RV so we had no previous frame of reference), we fortunately did not encounter some of the really bad issues others have faced. No water leaks, delamination, electrical gremlins, cabinets falling off the wall or slide ripping the vinyl floor.
And the problems we did have were handled to our complete satisfaction by our dealer, Plemmons RV World in Raleigh. Jayco authorizing replacement of our Girard tankless water heater with a Suburban added a full point to our score!

A few months ago I had a pretty bad water leak from my pump, and since then I've been getting some pretty loud squeaks from the floor, depending on how my TT is leveled. Other than that, after 4 years of FT living in it, all is well. I think the dry heat in Arizona this winter will dry up the floor boards and relieve the floor noises.

I'm at 2.5 years and rate quality as an 8. It has had some issues, but they have been handled under warranty.
2015 model 29QBS
The fridge condensate line was never properly plumbed to the outside, causing it to leak inside and damage a cabinet. Repaired under warranty.
The decking underneath the tub only supported just over half the tub. The bottom of the tub near the wall wasn't supported. As a result, the drain connection worked loose and water flooded our undercarriage. This was fully repaired under warranty.
The vinyl flooring isn't the best quality. It has split as a result of expansion and contraction. One split was about 6 inches from the wall by a kitchen cabinet. I simply glued it down myself. Another split was right at a wall by the wardrobe. I plan to put down some shoe molding to cover that up.
Everything else has been great. I'm pleased with the quality. All the issues that I mentioned occurred in year 2, so they would have been out of warranty on almost every other brand. I am very happy with my Jayco and think it was money well spent. Not the best camper ever, but certainly worth the money I spent.

Bought my x213 new in 2012, only 3 issues during our ownership, power jack failed, loose overhead trim above the rear slide and minor corrosion on the aluminum rims. Been flawless otherwise.

My two years will be up in Nov and in Oct it will be at factory getting a roof and main slide removed. Bent roller is ripping up the bottom and outriggers are bent. Left rear tire will occasionally rub on the inside of slide wearing thru the metal. That's the big stuff and numerous other small things. So for me a 3. But for Jayco customer service a 10 plus

2 years with X17Z. Stove screws came loose, stove wiggled out during travel. Water leak from sink trap pipe which came loose. One hinge on outside stove vent flap broke off. Every now and then, I find screws on the floor and save them till I find out where it came from. Nothing major. Happy with purchase and quality.

Well we just past the three year mark with our 32 BHDS and other than a couple of slide out issues we had in the first summer of use it has been absolutely flawless.

Two years as of June 5th and I would rate my trailer a 5. Haven't had any major problems but for $20k+ I would expect better quality. Biggest complaints are:
1- The chassis paint is terrible. I had it redone under warranty last spring and it already looks horrible again. I've had $500 Home Depot trailers that looked better after 2 years.
2- Cabinet quality is really poor. Both of the wardrobe cabinets at the main bed have literally had the bottoms fall out and the sides pop loose. Face frames are poorly attached and cause gaps/cracks.
3) The shower support is inadequate. I weigh 187lbs and get a tremendous amount of flex out of it. I will be gutting the shower this winter and installing it properly.
4) Window seals already leaking as they are just foam gaskets.
I love the floorplan, design and look of our trailer but from a quality standpoint I wish I would have spent the extra 4K and bought a Nash.

Maybe I just got a lemon. I've repaired 3 plumbing leaks, replaced tub faucet, replaced the refrigerator (warrantied), replaced the propane/CO detector (also warrantied) replaced the kitchen counter top and need to replace the dinette table too. And this is on our 2014 Jayco.
Overall, I can give it no better than a 3.
