Question regarding kitchen mini blinds

Our 2011 Jay Flight 26RLS kitchen mini blind had clips that were screwed into the wall where you would hook the mini blind to during travel. It made it nice and snug. The 2014 Eagle does not, the blind just hangs freely down. Is there a reason other than cutting costs why they don't put them on. Were they not put on the newer models? We had no issues with ours and traveled over 15,000 miles with it. I just wasn't sure if they were just forgotten. Something to add to the warranty list?

My 2012 22FB also did not have those clips. I did purchase some and put them on myself. Why Jayco chooses to be so chintzy at times is a true puzzlement.

We didn't have them on our new rig and it works fine without it.

Actually better because it is one less thing to break.

I had to disconnect mine due to the cats. They need to be where they are not and that means raising the blinds a little so they can peak out. I just raise the blinds all the way when traveling.
