x2 (or 3 or 4) on the starter kit. Put one together out of the things YOU would like to have. Like a higher quality sewer hose (maybe one with quick connects, I LOVE mine, and it came with a sewer fitting for full hookups). My dealer has his logo printed on the bag that holds 10 Lynx Leveler blocks, and these are great too. Offer it with a slight package discount and you're in business. This goes along with a potential 10% loyalty discount. You might even offer a higher discount on "purchase" or "delivery" day; my dealer even included a $100 gift certificate to his parts department with my purchase. If you really wanted to go all out, you could have a tech install some of the purchased items before PDI. My dealer offered the "kit" as a list of off-the-shelf items, the parts guy helped me pick the items and helped me make sure they were relevant to my needs. Just don't throw the cheapest junkiest parts you have to keep it cheap.
3M Command Hooks. I bet you could contact a 3M distributor to set you up a nice display and keep it stocked for you with the things we RVers need. Nothing better to hang things neatly in storage bays than a big Command Hook product.
Stick-on LED push button lamps. I have them in several places in my trailer, and they are indispensable.
LED bulbs. And not the ultra-expensive ones (unless that's your market)
+1 for something to cover the power jack. I know you can make something for that, but it would be cool if someone makes one other than that little bag. It's a little disconcerting when I pick up my trailer after a long storage and see water dripping out of the head, and it hasn't rained in weeks.
Rubber-maid storage bins in a variety of sizes.
Milk-crate type storage containers
I could go on and on...

Oh yeah, and +1 for burning that battery box strap. That thing is the biggest hunk of junk on my RV... Why oh why can't they just use a normal strap?

i can only speak on our starter kits, and as the guy who puts them together, they are not cheap.
hooks, button lights, led bulbs. i have a gripe with this supplier about the price and quality of the ones they offer. who would spend 25 bucks on one bulb?

Yeah. Arvika is really expensive.
I am investigating a trailer tray (about $225) and adding some rooftop type bike racks (<$50 for two bikes on Amazon) to the platform of the trailer tray.

Gather stuff that your customer did not know they needed. Case in point - a holder for my 7 pin wire when not connected to my tow vehicle (which is about 99% of the time) that keeps it high, dry and sealed. No corroded contacts for me.
My dealer did give me a $50 credit in their store the day we picked up our unit which was soooooo much better than a start up kit of junk. They also gave me a 10% off card good for one year. I have spent around $100 there so far when I went back for warranty work and had 3 hours to sit and do nothing in the waiting room. Boy are they smart.
Make sure stuff appeals to men, women, teens and children since the rv industry builds many units for families.

I don't know if it's too late to add an item, but here goes. We have the bumper mounted grill option, and every RV store I pass, I look for a longer propane hose with the quick connect on both ends. No one seems to stock this type of thing. I can't be the only one wishing for a longer hose, say in the 10 to 12 foot range.

Got a set of these Campfire tongs for Christmas in 2012 and they have been a hit with friends everywhere I go camping. Kind of pricey with shipping but they work great and seem well built.

I wanted a slightly longer one also and had one made at the local LP gas distributor. I bought the quick connect from Jayco dealer (about $5) and took it to the LP guy who made the longer hose for about $15. I explained what I needed and his only question was "how long?". They have spools of the hose (heavier than the original, I might add), and it's cheap.

Yep.. Same answer here on the hose. We have a LP gas distributor down the road. I would need to send folks there, after the quick connector is purchased.
As for the tongs... great idea!
