Quick shout out to Dexter

During annual inspection of my Eagle 330RSTS, I found a cable hanging out of the back of one of my wheels. Normally would have just greased the axles and went on my way, but decided to pull the hub on affected wheel. Every piece of the brake assembly except the magnet and actuator arm fell onto the ground. Further inspection showed that something got wedged against the rear grease seal and ground it down and severely damaged. Thankfully the axle shaft looked pristine.

Reached out to Jayco. Technically I'm out of warranty by 30 days and they did not offer any assistance.

Reached out to Dexter. They asked for some information about the trailer and axle and for some pictures. Sent me out a whole new brake assembly, hub, bearings and seals under warranty (and they were friendly about it the whole time).

Thanks Dexter...and just a reminder that individual component manufacturers can be helpful even after your Jayco warranty expires.
