Radio Question

I have a 2015 Jayco Grayhawk 29MV. My radio comes on at random times when parked in the driveway. I have it connected to home power. When camping with no electric hookup, it never does that. The radio in the dash is powered by the battery in the motorhome not the chassis battery. If i actuate the master switch it doesn't come on. Can't seem to figure this out, any ideas would be appreciated.

We've got a 2016 with the Jensen JRV215. While it's not doing the exact same thing, it will come on unaided for two reasons, I've found:

- the weather radio triggered. there's a weather alert in our area and the radio powered up. it'll be on the weather band
- if I flip the Power Cutoff switch from off to on, the radio often powers up on its own

that's all I got.

It should be powered by both, depending on whether the key is on or off. With the key on it uses the chassis, with the key off the coach. Unless they have changed something it has been that way for decades. They use a diode system to prevent any conflict between the batteries.
