2015 manual says 89 recommended but 87 is ok. I have never had any issue with 87, ran 85 once cause I really needed fuel and it was all that was available

Yeah, the 2016 is a little different it said 87 octane but if I'm towing heavy I run 89, I might even put 87 in it sometime.

OK....I got the deal sweetened with mopar side rails included. Dealer also went $1,000 above KBB Trade in amount.

So....$35,499 with the extra 1k on the trade in....

Pic is my current 1500 Big Horn side by side with the 2500

Will be picking up the 2500 tomorrow.

Congratulations!!!!

Looking forward to more pics!!!

A suggestion: buy a 2.5" shank for the wdh. Less slop than when using the adapter, and no chance of loosing the adapter after removing the wdh!!!

Got me.

Owned one Dodge in my life and one Jeep. Both were absolute junk so no more Chrysler products for this guy. Got friends with 2500s and 3500s the Cummins in them is a beast and great engines, the trucks are falling apart around them.

Well, mine isn't. But, it's only 8yrs old and 100k miles so I guess it isn't very old yet.

The only Chrysler product I had trouble with was one of my Neon's. Jeep was really good, other Neon, Minivan. Inlaws has Dodges after they gave up on their 66 Mustang. Father had a 67 wagon that finally lost the transmission at 200k miles.

There was a run of 3/4 and 1T (SRW) trucks with transmission problems. Don't remember the years but it was before mine.

I also had a Ford Range that mechanically was great. The interior electrical systems were a nightmare.

Basically, you can have a bad truck/car from any mfg. Some have better years than others. FWIW, I never shop based on who the mfg is, only if the product is what I want.

Your right, those old Dodge's are a little loud, especially when the mufflers are removed. But Dodge does not make trucks anymore. The new Ram's with the Cummins is much more quiet, probably not any different than a new Chevy or Ford diesel.
