RAM 3500 Shocks

I see a lot of posts where Ford & Chevy owners replaced their "crappy" OEM shocks with high performance shocks. I have not seen any post for RAM 3500 replacement shocks. Have any RAM owners replaced their OEM shocks, front & rear, with high performance shocks? If so, what brands?

Is money just burning a hole in your pocket or is there some benefit to upgrading? I don't know any better. We're happy with our tow package and I'm just wondering what would an upgrade in shocks improve?

LOL, and as soon as I posted that I saw you had a dually knowing your ride is probably better than mine, an SRW.

Personal opinion, but I’d replace ANY stock shock on ANY brand before I added bags or Timbrens or anything else. To me, the OEM wear parts were bid out for a reason.

My 2001 Dodge Ram 250 still has the original shocks with 176000 miles!

To be honest it still drives the same.No bouncing or cupping on tires.
I will replace them some day.

I just replaced my OEM shocks with Bilstein 4600. Truck has 76K on it and I felt it was time. Honestly, I feel no difference. How does one check shocks on a heavy duty dually?

Might be difficult to check with the bounce test on a big truck!

Why did you think it was time to replace?
Mileage?
